Deputy Communication Coordinator

(Part-time – work from home/private office)

On a pro-bono basis, culture Solutions team is looking for a part-time Deputy Communication Coordinator who will support and assist the Communication Coordinator in the development of the communication strategy and ongoing communication projects. 

 

Strategy development:

  • Assist in developing and improving the communication strategy of cS
  • Lead the creation of tools, documents and templates that will bring value to cS development and overall strategy
  • Assist in the deployment of new assets and tools to increase the overall visibility of cS and its projects

 

Digital communication:

  • Assist in developing social media and digital marketing strategies, goals, and objectives
  • Drive social media initiatives and content across social channels
  • Develop brand awareness and increases engagement by developing and designing strong content strategies
  • Recommend creative approaches for social media executions to support business goals, including promotions, campaigns, and contests
  • Develop and manage social media content calendars and planning tools (coordinating with other teams: Research, Fundraising, Training and Know-How Sharing teams)
  • Assist in developing analytics tools and gathering insights to improve the digital strategy 

 

Project communication:

  • Create, develop and plan communication campaign to increase the visibility of the projects, events and partnerships of cS
  • Coordinate with other teams to ensure consistency and compliance with the project guidelines

 

Leadership and collaboration:

  • Liaise and coordinate with the communication coordinator on a weekly basis to organize the repartition of the workload within the communication team 
  • Assist in managing and developing a multinational growing team of currently two collaborators 
  • Transform guidelines and objectives into concrete actions and steps and communicate it with the team collaborators

 

Profile: 

  • Passion for communication and especially digital communication 
  • Proven successful experience in digital communication
  • Excellent collaboration skills 
  • Strong written communication skills 
  • Strong organisational skills 
  • Graphic design skills 
  • Experience using Canva and/or Photoshop
  • Interest in and knowledge of cultural affairs and European affairs
  • High-level command of English; Fluency in French is definitely a plus; other languages will be an asset.

Fundraising Collaborator

(Part-time – work from home/private office)

On a pro-bono basis, culture Solutions team is looking for a part-time Fundraising collaborator, who will contribute to implementing the fundraising and business development strategy and work plan, by delivering fundraising products and thus increasing funding opportunities for culture Solutions core activities.

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Lead on maintaining, updating and developing core fundraising intelligence database following the indications of the BDF Team Coordinator
  • Contribute to the work of the business development and fundraising team, by supporting the strategy and 2021 work plan implementation under the supervision of the BDF Team Coordinator
  • Support the work of the Research and Training and Know How Sharing teams by sourcing and sharing funding opportunities through the BDF Team Coordinator

 

Specific Tasks:

  • Develop a monitoring plan for the above mentioned streams and platforms
  • Develop a background research on potential partners and donors, and then update a database of potential partners per area/topic 
  • Timely screen, source information and opportunities (calls for proposals, tenders, projects, events) and share them with the concerned cS team 
  • Follow up on calls for proposals/tenders 
  • Update and maintain fundraising intelligence database
  • Organise, update and maintain the cS stakeholders’ contact database
  • Contribute to the drafting of project proposals together with the members of other teams concerned 
  • Attend periodic meetings with both the Research team and the Know-how sharing team to ensure effective coordination among cS teams

 

Profile:

  • Experience in fundraising
  • High level command of English; knowledge of French or any other EU language is a plus
  • Experience in organizing and managing databases
  • Interest in cultural affairs and European affairs
  • Knowledge of cultural organisations and of the functioning of EU institutions 
  • Strong written communication skills

Bilingual Web editor (French-English)

On a pro-bono basis, culture Solutions team is looking for a part-time web editor to take care of our website (and webpages) .

culture Solutions is currently entering a new phase as it is looking for new collaborations and funding. Hence, it is possible that occasional paid services might be required next year. It is also possible that, eventually, some pro bono vacancies might be replaced by paid ones in 2021.

 

We are looking for someone who is/has:

  • Passionate about website management
  • Proven experience in website edition (being familiar with WordPress is mandatory) and content production (Canva)
  • Interest in cultural and European affairs;
  • Bilingual in French and English
  • Strong translation skills
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Autonomous, even remotely (working from home)
  • Eager to face new challenges and to meet our dynamic team

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Translating the content of our English website into French
  • Developing the French version of the website
  • Keeping our pages updated with new content
  • Creating content
  • Monitoring our page

 

Coordination:

The successful applicant will, among other things:

  • Take part in the weekly meetings of the communications team
  • Under the supervision of the Board and of the communications team’s coordinator, he/she will demonstrate proactivity and autonomous delivery capacity regarding the maintenance and regular updating of our website
  • Liaise with cS graphic designer to ensure graphic guidelines are applied
